神奈川県警に、行方不明になっている坂本弁護士の長男龍彦ちゃんの遺体を埋めたという匿名の手紙が届く。埋葬場所を示す地図（長野県大町市）も同封されている。1995年になって手紙の主はオウム真理教幹部の佐伯（岡崎）一明であることが判明する。
